We are a Try Day School!

OFSAA Grade 9 Try Day

Venta is pleased to announce that we have been chosen to receive funding from OFSSA (Ontario Federation of Secondary School Athletics) as well as the Ontario Trillium Foundation for our Track and Field programme!

We received $800 to introduce and enhance our track and field activities. Mr. Spratt has purchased starting blocks, hurdles, cones and an official measuring tape.On Wednesday, April 7, we will hold our "Try Day" track and field event using the new equipment.

This grant allows us to seize the opportunity to enrich our school sport program with a new and non-traditional activity such as track and field. A special thank you to Mr. Mike Spratt for making this possible.
