The Programme

The intramural programme was founded in 1998, by Mr. Aaron McDonald to raise school spirit through intramural competition.  Staff and students are divided equally into four houses, and they compete for points throughout the school year in events such as hockey, football, soccer and chess.  The houses were named after four former students:  Andrew Tanchuk, Arthur Taylor, Martin Eggen and Michael Taylor.  The House colours are white and black for Andrew House, red and gold for Arthur House, white and navy blue for Martin House, and yellow and maroon for Michael House.

Ways to obtain points for your house...

1.  Win your games. Each win is worth 5 points, each tie is worth 3 points and each loss, 1 point.

2.  Wear your proper uniform.  If every member of your house is wearing their proper uniform on an intramural day, your house earns 5 points.

3.  House Spirit.  If your house exhibits excellent sportsmanship and team spirit, your house earns 5 points.
