Emily started teaching the Junior 3 class at Venta in 2005. She did her Honours BA in psychology at McMaster University and attended teacher's college at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.

Emily enjoys getting to know each student in her class. She concentrates on their areas of strength, areas for improvement as well as their likes and dislikes. Emily enjoys the Venta community, including the teachers, staff, parents and students.

Her free time is mostly occupied with her family, as she has two children under the age of 2.5! She still manages to make time for two hobbies she will never give up: reading and exercising.
