The Grade 9 and 10 students submitted art work to the Ottawa Young at Art Competition that took place in May, 2008. The event was held in the John Mlack Centre in Kanata, and featured young artists from across the city. One of our Grade 10 students won awards for "Best Artwork in Show:, the "Kanata Seniors Award: as well as the "Judge's Choice Award". The Young at Art Competition is a juried art exhibition for artists between the ages of 13 and 19 years who live or attend school in Ottawa. Works selected by jurors will be exhibited at local City-run galleries.
